May mga advantages po ang pagaaral natin sa Philippine Manok Academy (PMA).

In modern days with Internet and highly developed IT one can learn anything ten times faster than in the pre-computer era. There is no ignoring the development of the internet. Through the web we can be seemingly together even miles apart.

Sa totoo talo pa ang mga live seminars at trainings sa makukuha natin pamamagitan ng pag aral sa PMA.

Ano lang ang makukuha natin sa ilang oras na seminar? Ano lang ang matutunan natin kahit pa sa dalawa o tatlong araw na training? Lalo na kung talagang baguhan tayo. Wala tayong gaanung maiintindihan.

Bakit ang masteral o doctorate sa pormal na pagaaral ay pwede na nating makuha sa loob ng isa o dalawang taon? Dahil dumaan na tayong 4 na taon sa elementarya, 4 na taon sa high school at 4 o mahigit sa kolehiyo.

Ang nais mangyari ng iba ay gawin tayong instant bihasa. Ang sa PMA ay bigyan muna ng tama at wastong pundasyon sa fundamental na kaalaman bago turuan na maging bihasa.

At ang itinuturo sa PMA online ay hindi lang basta fundamentals sa pagmamanok kundi pati fundamentals upang maunawaan natin ang pagmamanok.

Magkakaroon ng live training ang PMA. I-arrange natin na ang sa Luzon ay sa National Gamefowl Training Center sa San mateo, Rizal natin gaganapin. Sa Visayas ay malamang sa RB Sugbo Gamefowl Technology sa Casili Hills, Mandaue, Cebu, at hahanap tayo ng magandang lugar sa Mindanao.

Mga graduates lang ng PMA online ang ating tatanggapin. Upang mas malalim na at tuloy-tuloy ang talakayan dahil lahat ay may alam at nauunawaan na.

PMA to offer more advanced studies

The Pinoy Manok Academy (PMA), an online cocking school that offers free courses on gamefowl management and technology, will soon open its advanced studies module for those who have already graduated from the fundamental courses.

The opening of advance studies originally schedule for May, 2011, was moved to July.

The PMA has been envisioned to provide interested but busy sabong students with program that will enable them to study at their own pace and their own schedule. Because the courses are offered online, scholars may choose when to start and to finish the courses. Unlike in the live seminars wherein the students will have to follow the pre set schedule.

Also,such program will allow scholars to learn more and understand the lesson better since they can read and re-read the lessons as long as necessary. Other cocking schools and trainings will have to end as schedule even if the students have not fully understood the topics discussed.

The fundamental studies at the PMA are offered free in line with MANA‟s objective of effecting technology transfer at no or low cost to ordinary sabungeros. Knowledge in gamefowl management has been very expensive to acquire, putting the ordinary sabungeros at disadvantage because only those who could afford can acquire such knowledge.

Masang Nagmamanok (MANA) Inc, in coordination with RB Sugbo Gamefowl Technology, is trying to correct the situation. PMA is only one of the means. MANA and RB Sugbo have been conducting seminars and trainings and also providing gamefowl publications, mostly for free.

The PMA opened its fundamental courses on the web in February 2010. Out of the more than 300 scholars, only fourteen have graduated so far after passing the final exams.

The final exams are the basis of a scholar‟s graduation. The exams do not ask questions but rather ask the scholar to write down his observation and comments on each of the topic. A team of instructors will then evaluate the scholars‟ papers. The scholars‟ understanding of a particular lesson or topic will reflect on their observations and comments.

The first graduate has been Danny Salazar, a native of Bataan and an engineer who is at present working in Abu Dhabi. Kamana Danny enrolled with the PMA on Feb. 8 2010 and finished the course April 21, 2010.

On the same day Michael-Chester Tiu of Naga, Cebu also graduated, though a few hours later. Kamana Michael is known as Zordic in the
Academy. He enrolled Jan. 22, 2010.

The 3rd graduate has been Andres Paragoso, also of Cebu who enrolled Feb 4, 2010 and graduated April 25 of the same year.

Those who are interested to join the free fundamental course will only have to register with manainc.webs.com and subsequently enrolled with the PMA both registrations are for free.
