Cockmates, can you enlighten us about this bloodline.

1. Do you know the genetic make up of Rubles Hatch?

2. What's best to cross breed this line by Hen/Cock side to produce excellent battle fowls?

Your response is much appreciated... Shocked Grin Angry

Rubble was once an unbeatable breed that dominated the cocking world in the 60's....Rubble is tough to beat  in the drag----because of it's short body it can turn fast and shuffle at all directions.  However, as Lemon came out in the 70's the aggressiveness and speed of the Rubbles spell a sucidal and disadvantage in every fight.  Rubble was bred for short knife that was given  emphasis by the breeder (Bill Rubble) as power, speed, and gameness.

use Rubble broodcock over Claret hen---among the stag choose the yellow legs (fight in the hack fight), and return the winner to it's mother hen.  Choose the white legs pullets and cross back to the original Rubble brood cock.  Majority of the offspring will be a yellow leg stags  with white streak in the tail that will look like a Lemon.

Toppy Rubble is  very good to infuse---may it be Lemon,  sweater or Roundhead. It is where the Karachi line came from.

 ruble hatch,

I have a 4 year old spangle ruble hatch that blends well with the sweaters and roundheads, but most of the winners came from sweater hen cross to the ruble hatch, the offsprings are multi winners in hackgihts. Most of the ruble hatch cross has the speed, cutting ability and gameness to spare. Some of those crosses are 4 time winners and other are 2 to 3 time winners. Just focus on your breeding and create a nick to your existing ruble hatch blood.

 Goodluck.
